Sweetheart:-
Engine trouble caused me to spend another all night session on the road, and I didn’t arrive home till Monday noon.

As a result, I was so sleepy last evening I just couldn’t write. Went to bed at 7:00 o’clock. Will tell you all about it when I write this evening.

Am sending this special so you won’t have to wait so long. Had such a nice visit with my lover girl.

Must go to work now. I’m the boss today, as Dad is away.

Some of the letters may seem out of place, or out of order because of this.
