Join us for a unique new event, combining history with the art of mixology! History with a Twist, HHM’s inaugural craft cocktail competition, will take place on the Museum grounds. Some of Findlay’s finest bartenders from your favorite local establishments will create original craft cocktails inspired by history. The cocktails must pay homage to American, state, or local history, whether in technique, title, or ingredients. Contestants include: Luke Kish, Bourbon Affair; Cody Brickner, Findlay Country Club; Renee Miller, Fins Seafood & Grille; Jessica Knettle, Bistro on Main; Ross Zepp, STIX; Evon Dufek, Rossilli’s; and Jen Grant, Mancy’s Steakhouse-Hancock Hotel.
Guests will have the opportunity to taste each of the cocktails, while enjoying live music and appetizers. A panel of four judges will choose a winner for the inaugural competition. Judges for the event include Alissa Preston, Findlay-Hancock County CVB; Dan Sheaffer, Findlay Hancock County Economic Development; Christie Ranzau, Rooney & Ranzau; and Dave Glass, Findlay Publishing Company. Guests may also vote for their favorite, and a People’s Choice Winner will be announced at the end of the evening.
Tickets for the competition are $45 for museum members, $55 for nonmembers.
