The Hancock Historical Museum will host several activities for children throughout March in support of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library’s CommunityREAD month. The activities will kick-off on Sunday, March 7th from 1-4pm. For $1 admission, guests to the Hancock Historical Museum can take part in a book scavenger hunt and make several crafts (including their own bookmark). Children can assemble a paper chain with the books that they read throughout the month of March. If they return their chain to the museum by March 31st with at least six books completed, they will receive a free book as a prize.
Activities will continue throughout the month of March during regular museum hours. The museum is open to the public Wednesday-Friday, 10am-4pm, and Sunday 1-4pm.
