Create an unforgettable holiday memory by attending this authentic holiday experience with a twist! Authentic details have made the Museum’s annual Christmas dinner a popular tradition for more than 25 years. Step back in time as a guest of honor to a four course meal at the beautifully restored 1843 Davis Homestead, one of the oldest farm houses in Hancock County located on the Museum’s campus.
Guests to the dinner will enjoy a magical experience along with a delicious meal! Enjoy old-fashioned “wassail” and appetizers. A four-course meal will follow. Each guest will enjoy a variety of traditional homemade “savories” following dinner, including sugarplums and pulled taffy. Christmas carolers and instrumentalists will provide entertainment throughout the evening.
The Victorian Christmas Dinner Committee sees to the historic authenticity of every detail, including the many handmade decorations. Come experience this favorite annual event! The Victorian Christmas Dinner has become a treasured holiday memory for many.
