Join us for a unique new event, combining history with the art of mixology! History with a Twist, HHM’s inaugural craft cocktail competition, will take place on the Museum grounds. Some of Findlay’s finest bartenders from your favorite local establishments will create original craft cocktails inspired by history. The cocktails must pay homage to American, state, or local history, whether in technique, title, or ingredients. Brown Bag Lecture: Emory Adams Park & the Adams Family

Enlighten your lunch hour! Join us for the "Emory Adams Park & the Adams Family" presented by Pat Bauman. Lectures are free for Museum members and the cost of regular admission for nonmembers. Bag lunches from Main Street Deli may be purchased for an additional fee and include a sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink. Juneteenth Independence Day, celebrated on June 19th, is the oldest nationally recognized commemoration of the ending of slavery in our country. On June 19th, from 12-8pm, the Hancock Historical Museum will participate in a community-wide celebration of Juneteenth. Original artwork from children’s books about the Underground Railroad will be displayed at various sites throughout the city. Enjoy the warm breezes of summer with a tea party on the front porch of the historic Hull House! This event is for children ages 6-12 with an accompanying adult. Guests are encouraged to bring their American Girl doll and come dressed for the occasion.
