Brown Bag Lecture: Emory Adams Park & the Adams Family

Enlighten your lunch hour! Join us for the "Emory Adams Park & the Adams Family" presented by Pat Bauman. Lectures are free for Museum members and the cost of regular admission for nonmembers. Bag lunches from Main Street Deli may be purchased for an additional fee and include a sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink. Taste of Ann Arbor Tour – SOLD OUT

Juneteenth Independence Day, celebrated on June 19th, is the oldest nationally recognized commemoration of the ending of slavery in our country. On June 19th, from 12-8pm, the Hancock Historical Museum will participate in a community-wide celebration of Juneteenth. Original artwork from children’s books about the Underground Railroad will be displayed at various sites throughout the city. Victorian Front Porch Tea

Enjoy the warm breezes of summer with a tea party on the front porch of the historic Hull House! This event is for children ages 6-12 with an accompanying adult. Guests are encouraged to bring their American Girl doll and come dressed for the occasion. Campers ages 7-12 are invited to join us as we investigate the history and science of sound, light, force, motion and electricity!
