When Cornelia “Nelia” B. S. Grose was born on June 20, 1862, in Warsaw, Indiana, her father, Samuel, was 36, and her mother, Fannie, was 20. She married Louis Everett Kennedy and they had three children together. She died on October 22, 1937, in Findlay, Ohio, at the age of 75, and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery.
