When Earl “Bill” Kennedy was born on June 7, 1886, in College Corner, Ohio, his father, Louis, was 27 and his mother, Cornelia, was 23. He married Marie Helene McCarthy and they had one son together. He then married Edna V. Leader in 1937. He died on October 12, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 63, and was buried in Findlay, Ohio at Maple Grove Cemetery.
