Marie Helene McCarthy was born on June 12, 1896, in Ithaca, New York, her father, Thomas, was 38, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 36. She married Earl “Bill” Kennedy on April 24, 1925. They had one child during their marriage. She died on May 9, 1933, in Findlay, Ohio, at the age of 36, and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery.
